Draft for Product Owner review. This version is not released and purchasing remains closed.
Every proposed claim below requires Product Owner approval before publication as release evidence.
Proposed changes
- Improved Staff Review empty-queue layout and first-run setup text at larger text sizes.
- Clearer backup status wording: the Dashboard says when a backup was verified when it was created, and 'Verified' appears only when a verification record exists.
- Receipt delivery preferences remain with the accession without overwriting the donor address.
- Location housekeeping uses current structured location data rather than historical location context.
Compatibility and limitations
The final signed release identity, checksum, supported predecessor update paths, migration compatibility, and qualified limitations will be added after candidate qualification. Newer museum databases and migration packages require a compatible newer MCVM build; an older application must not be used to restore them.
MCVM never updates itself: the only update method is for a person to open Settings > Program & Maintenance > Update App and start the update, and nothing installs automatically.
