The planned policy covers the initial MCVM license purchase and each separately charged Care + AI renewal.
The final policy supplied at checkout will control, together with non-waivable law and Paddle's authority as merchant of record.
30-day money-back guarantee
- The initial $795 perpetual institutional license purchase may be fully refunded within 30 days
- Each separately charged $299 annual Care + AI renewal has its own 30-day refund period
- A reason may be requested for feedback but is not required for the guarantee
- Modest Managed AI use during the renewal refund period does not reduce the refund
- Approved refunds return through Paddle to the original payment method; provider processing time applies
What happens after a full license refund
MCVM marks the commercial entitlement refunded, ends Care, Managed AI, update, and support eligibility, and asks the museum to uninstall. This is trust-based: MCVM will not remotely disable an already-installed offline copy. The museum keeps its collection data.
Cancel future Care + AI renewal
Care + AI automatically renews at $299 USD per year after the included first 12 months unless cancelled. Cancellation is effective for future renewal and does not shorten the current paid period. It never disables core MCVM, ends the perpetual license, or blocks collection access. The planned Paddle customer portal will provide invoice, payment-method, and cancellation controls.
