00:00:01.000 --> 00:00:03.300
Every artifact has a story.

00:00:03.900 --> 00:00:06.950
Every collection deserves to be preserved.

00:00:10.150 --> 00:00:13.054
MCVM Collection Manager is collections

00:00:13.054 --> 00:00:16.538
software made for small museums and

00:00:16.538 --> 00:00:17.700
historical societies.

00:00:18.300 --> 00:00:20.790
It brings your whole collection together in

00:00:20.790 --> 00:00:22.925
one place, on your own computer.

00:00:23.525 --> 00:00:26.485
Day to day, one home screen shows what

00:00:26.485 --> 00:00:28.705
needs attention, and how your collection

00:00:28.705 --> 00:00:29.075
stands.

00:00:33.675 --> 00:00:36.775
Record every gift and the story behind it.

00:00:37.375 --> 00:00:40.000
Catalog each object with its photographs and

00:00:40.000 --> 00:00:42.250
the paperwork that goes with it.

00:00:42.850 --> 00:00:45.339
Find any record with a search, and always

00:00:45.339 --> 00:00:47.828
know where each object is, and where it

00:00:47.828 --> 00:00:48.450
has been.

00:00:51.650 --> 00:00:54.545
Staff and volunteers can contribute, with

00:00:54.545 --> 00:00:56.475
supervisor review built in.

00:00:57.075 --> 00:01:00.275
AI help is optional, and the museum decides

00:01:00.275 --> 00:01:01.875
what changes the record.

00:01:05.075 --> 00:01:07.638
What your museum learns stays with the

00:01:07.638 --> 00:01:09.834
object, in research notes with their

00:01:09.834 --> 00:01:10.200
sources.

00:01:10.800 --> 00:01:13.987
And from those same records, MCVM makes

00:01:13.987 --> 00:01:17.175
gallery labels, reports, and a Museum Book.

00:01:20.375 --> 00:01:22.999
You choose what the public sees, and you

00:01:22.999 --> 00:01:25.294
preview your public website on your own

00:01:25.294 --> 00:01:25.950
computer first.

00:01:30.550 --> 00:01:33.327
Your records stay on your computer, under

00:01:33.327 --> 00:01:35.707
your control, with verified backups to

00:01:35.707 --> 00:01:36.500
protect them.

00:01:39.700 --> 00:01:44.555
Care for the collection. Keep control of it.

00:01:44.555 --> 00:01:46.375
MCVM Collection Manager.
